We had an interesting day seeing the sights.
We were struck by the strong Spanish influence particularly the colour of the buildings and the large wooden doors. Also there seems to be a sense that you have to beep at everything that moves on the road !!!
In the evening we met up with Mum´s school friend Mari who lives and works in Lima. She had a fascinating house with a gorgeous garden.
